Martin has learned his trade from scratch: Apprenticeship as joiner, practical work experience as certified craftsman, degree of engineering for interior architecture.
Starting out as an employee, Martin gathered experience in the full scope of his profession: Analysis – sketching, rendering, detailing - considering peripheral trades, construction site details, timelines - supervising workshops, logistics, installation - performing handover, follow-up service.
Projects ranged from single pieces of furniture to complete residential/commercial/restaurant interiors.
In 1998 Martin established his own studio. Starting on a smaller scale, the projects gradually grew larger and more complex. Parallel to these changes, the main focus was shifted to the realization phase of projects, and now also included Yacht- and commercial marine projects.
Martin has never stopped expanding his professional horizon, has gained much experience with peripheral trades and is always in touch with the latest materials and techniques.
Today, Martin sees himself mainly at the interface between the Client, the Designer, all involved suppliers, engineers and craftsmen, regulatory authorities and others.
His aim is to fully realize the given design, while at the same time looking after all technical and other requirements in order to guarantee the Client impeccable look, function and comfort.
Martin is multi-lingual, intercultural and an excellent team player. If desired, he can arrange contact with a hand-picked scope of architects, engineers, suppliers, workshops and craftsmen. He works very pro-actively, keeps a clear overall view and does not lose sight of the details.
Martin works worldwide. Please feel free to contact him anytime to start discussing your project
